End Of The Year Teacher Gift

I wanted to post the special gift I made for Blaze's main teacher as she was so wonderful with him this year.  I don't know if you have seen the poem When You Thought I Wasn't Looking or not but I took that and switched it up to make it personal for Blaze and his teacher.  Then I used a cheap frame, scrapbook paper and stickers, and cork letters to make a plaque for her.  I am posting the poem and a photo of the plaque.  She sent me a letter telling me how much she loved it and how much it meant to her.  So sweet.

When You Thought I Wasn't Looking...
When you thought I wasn't looking,
you put faces on the chart for me,
and I finally understood what it meant.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
You displayed my art,
and it made me want to make more.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
you kept my routines the same for me,
and I knew school was safe and fun.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
you explained things to me more simply,
and I knew that I could learn too.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
you smiled and hugged me, but not too tight,
and I knew you cared for me.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
you cared,
and I wanted to do my best for you.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
you made kindergarten amazing for me,
and I knew that I was smart.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I looked,
and I want to thank you for all the little things you did,
when you thought I wasn't looking.
