Tonight we had a very yummy supper I found on Pinterest right here. She originally pinned it from this link here. I completely forgot to take a photo though...darnit. I can tell you it was very yummy but I agree with the original blogger who posted it that I would use low sodium soups and do not add any salt to it. This is strange for me to say because I am addicted to salt so trust me. You will love it though. We all did, except Blaze of course, he is so picky it drives me crazy. But my cousin Erica's little girls who are 2 and 3 loved it and asked for more. SO here you go. If you try it let me know what you think. Crockpot Cubesteak and Brown Gravy
2 lbs Cubesteak
1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
1 packet Au Jus Mix
1 can Cream of Chicken or Mushroom Soup
1 can French Onion Soup
The first thing I would add is the sear your meat to lock in the juices. It just really helps it stay moist. Weird even though it is cooked in liquid.
1) Combine soups and packet mixes and mix well
2)Put cubesteak in crockpot. ( I layered it with some of the mix between layers.)
3) Pour gravy mixture over cubesteak and cover.
4) Cook on low for 6-8 hours. (I cooked mine for 7 and it was very tender, maybe too much because it was hard to "fork" lol. So maybe 6 is better.)
